This type of sapphire is relatively more expensive due to its rarity, as Montana produces sapphires in much smaller quantities compared to other sources. It also has a higher cost of production as the roughs are often mined using environmentally friendly and ethical practices, compared to regions with less stringent standards. ♥♥
