➤ Paraiba quartz, also known as Medusa quartz, is quartz that contains gilalite inclusions. Gilalite is a rare copper silicate mineral that appears translucent green or blue/green. This gemstone is commonly referred to as "Paraiba Quartz" because the inclusions resemble the mineral that is mined from Paraiba Brazil - Paraiba Tourmaline.
